'Frozen' Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Hey there! I have finally watched Frozen(several times now) two weeks ago and I am obsessed! Yes indeed! And I am considering  Frozen to be the best movie Disney has ever made! :D

Since I've watched it, I have been listening to the soundtrack from the movie and I have been quite inspired. Well, it's not much of a masterpiece but hey, I like it. :)

Sooo, let's build a snowman! :D

Firstly, I set up a base for my eyeshadows and I chose Bamboo(Sleek's Monaco palette), which is the light cream colour, and I just slightly feather it up.

So this happened. I don't know why it is in that position.

I then go in with Serene just a bit above my crease to set up a light transitioning colour.

After doing that, I sweep Aquamarine(Monaco palette) on to my crease and I blend it out into the transition colour and creating the outer V. The colour I mentioned is right next to the creamy one, I forgot to mark each eyeshadow, please excuse me. :)

So I did the same thing with Humming Bird(Monaco palette) except I didn't blend as much so the outer V is more intense. The eyeshadow is that beautiful turquoise colour right next to that shimmery lilac. It gives a beautiful golden glow. :) It is very similar to MUA's pearl single eyeshadow in Shade 26.

After that I deepened the crease a little bit with MUA's matte single eyeshadow in shade 19, which I also use for my brows. After blending that colour the Humming Bird kind of flies away, so you can sweep it a bit on the crease again, just to bring it back. I didn't though, I kind of liked it that way. :)

I love this eyeshadow for highlighting! So that what I did next. Just a little bit of MUA's pearl single eyeshadow in Shade 1. Little bit in my inner eye corner and on my brow bone and it brightens up my whole face. :)

Taking Humming Bird again and lining my lover lash line with it.

I do the same with Shade 19, just not all the way, just a little bit in the outer corner and connecting it with the outer V.

If you decide to recreate this look, you can totally skip this part I just found this eyeliner which I wanted to use and give a more icy feel to it and I just lined it on my lower lash line the same as I did with Humming bird. I did it over the Shade 19 as well but I went back with that shade and I  just touched the outer glittery area with my brush, nothing more. :)

Almost every eye makeup looks even more fab with liquid eyeliner. So I used gel eyeliner from Sleek to create the wing(I find it easier with gel eyeliner) and did the rest with felt tip eyeliner from Oriflame.

Finishing with some mascara and we are done!

Product I used for the rest of my face:

1. Mascaras: Essence Get Big Lashes, MUA Mega Volume
2. Foundation: Barry M Flawless Matte Finish
3. Powder: MUA Matte Perfect Loose Powder
4. Bronzer: Catrice Sun Glow(Matte)
5. Highlighter: Catrice Prime and Fine
6. Blush: Catrice Defining Blush in Love&Peach
7. Concealer: Catrice Re-Touch Light-Reflecting
8. Eyeshadow primer: MUA Pro-Base
9. Lipstick: Catrice Ultimate Shine Gel Colour in Don't Fear the Sheer

And here's the finished look and myself, awkwardly posing. :D

Hope you liked my inspired artistic makeup look(:D) so much, you decide to create it yourself. :) Thank you for reading.

Good day, sir... I SAID GOOD DAY! :P

Sleek Corrector & Concealer Palette Review!

Hey there! Apparently I'm on fire this week with reviews and all! :D Well, I decided to mention this little thingy because it is amazing.

Yes, I did some damage again, but it was not that big of a damage, I had quite good offers. :) I bought a foundation(which was free), this palette, another palette(Au Naturel by Sleek), blush palette(Candy Collection by Sleek, and it was 25% off), a lipgloss(MUA, which was also free) and a gel eyeliner(Sleek as well and was 25% off also). So I saved a bit, I guess. So this intro wasn't that necessary but I just wanted to share my shopping experience :D

So, this is definitely not new from Sleek, but I haven't seen it before, so it's new for me. :D

Onto the review! I have been searching for a concealer with setting powder for so long and I found one from MeMeMe and Manhattan but every time I go crazy online shopping, neither of them is in stock. Urgh! So when I saw this the other day I had to buy it! I didn't try any face things(except Face Form, which is more cheek thingy :P) from Sleek before so I didn't knew what to expect.

One thing that surprised me a lot, is the smell. :) It smells the same as the Face Form and I don't know if it's the powder smell of the concealer things but I like it very much. It's the scent I cannot describe. Some sort of floral smell with unicorn candy(?). I don't know, I get this weird unicorn association...  Yes, I am weird. :)

FORMULA
Both cream products are super creamy and easy to blend out. They don't seem to crease into my lines so that's always a good thing. I wouldn't change much about the formula since this is the best one I tried so far(to be honest I haven't tried a lot of concealers so, that doesn't say much, does it? :D). Also it doesn't dry out my skin, although my skin is a bit on the oily side.

COVERAGE
It gives decent coverage, I wouldn't say it's the best but for someone who has not that noticeable under eye bags, this is a pretty neat concealer and corrector. Haven't tried it on any blemishes or other spots because I didn't have any. :) Yeah, pretty lucky with that. So it doesn't give full coverage - I would say medium to full. And for the time I have this product on(about 6 hours) it does its job - doesn't come off completely, stays on pretty well, covers my bags pretty much the whole time and it doesn't dry out my skin or makes it shiny/oily. :)

PACKAGING
I love this packaging. I would prefer the square pans instead of circle ones, so that the pans could be a tad bigger and therefore - more product. I love how Sleek makes their palettes. They're very sturdy and sleek, like their brand says and I love how they have a big sized mirror in every single palette(eyeshadow, blush, Face Form, Contour kit, concealer...). It gets dirty quickly so I like to keep them in the boxes they came in.

PRICE
For the amount of the each product you get is a bit expensive(gotta keep in mind I bought this from Slovenian site, where the products are bit more than original price), at least for me. I would much rather spend half of the price(bit more than half, but you do get less product) for Catrice's camouflage cream and the coverage for my under eye bags is much better. With that being said, it does come with three products which is amazing.

Overall, I like this product, it's very neat, they have more shades for darker skin tones and I love how this palette doesn't have a mix of colours so you have to mix to get the right shade but it has three products which you can use all. :) Oh, and my palette is in the lightest shade(01), thought I'd mention that. :)

Corrector, concealer, setting powder
I have a lot of freckles :( thank God you can't see them well

So here's my eye. :P You can see the difference and as I said, it covers my bags pretty well but I'd like a bit more. :)

This is all for this review, I hope it was somewhat helpful although this is not a new product but I thought I'd say my opinion about it. :) Thank you for reading!

Have a nice weekend.

Coastal Scents 22 Piece Brush Set Review!

Hey there! My old brushes decided to retire and their softness turned into soft dust(what?!). It's weird to say, but they became so soft(which is very weird) to the point I couldn't pick up any powder and brushing some blush onto my face was a mission impossibru. :P

So why not buy new ones! :D As Coastal Scents had their 40% off sale during the Christmas and New Years I decided to pick up some brushes I have been wanting for a very long time! And they have arrived fairly quick. As soon as they arrived I screamed out of joy and I threw them a big welcome party by bathing them in warm water! :D

I had just couple of days to try them out but as soon as I did my makeup with them, I felt so blessed. :)

LARGE FAN(synthetic)
I don't really use fan brushes so I can't tell much about that. But I did try to put my highlighter with it and it doesn't pick up enough product. It's very soft and maybe too soft for powder product.

POWDER BUFFER(synthetic)
I love this brush! It's like a giant(well not that big) stippling brush and it works well with powder and liquid products. Although I prefer powder, loose one. The only thing that bothers me is that it took forever to dry. :/

ROUND POWDER(synthetic)
I like this one for cream blushes or highlighter. It's a small round top stippling brush. I tried to put powder blushes and it worked well as well. Especially for super pigmented blushes.

FLAT BUFFER(synthetic)
My brush for liquid foundation! It's awesome. Probably the softest brush in the set but it's also dense at the same time. I tried to put loose powder with this brush and it's no bueno. I had foundation underneath it and when I put my powder on top it's like the brush erased my foundation a little bit. Oh and this brush is also the one that was drying for a day, or even more.

ANGLE BLUSH(goat hair)
When I washed this brush I thought I won't have this brush for long. It shed like crazy! Every time I rinsed it, the brush lost quite a big amount of hair. But after that I think the shedding stopped. Haven't lost any hair and I've used this brush for applying my blush almost every time.

FOUNDATION(fibre hair)
I don't like to use these kind of brushes for my foundation because I personally think it takes too much time. I like to use it for my concealer or for contouring with cream products. Seems to work well with that.

CONCEALER(nylon hair)
Not much to say about this little fellow. I don't really use that much brushes for my concealer to begin with, but if I do I usually use a bigger brush(as said, a foundation one). But it is a good brush for concealing smaller part of the face.

LARGE SHADOW(pony hair)
Great for packing on the eyeshadow. Nothing much to say about it actually. Maybe this: some brushes(not from this set) poked me in the eye because the bristles were so harsh but this one is really soft.

BLENDER(pony hair)
I don't really blend with this brush, but I suppose it could be good for that as well. I usually use this the same at I use the large shadow brush. Although this one is much softer and packs colour on my lids a little less. So I tend to use this one for REALLY pigmented eyeshadows.

DOE FOOT BLENDER(pony hair)
I haven't really found a purpose for this brush. If I were to buy these brushes individually I would certainly skip this one.

DOME SHADOW(pony hair)
Awesome brush! It's dense but soft and I use it to pack the colour on the outer V(because I'm lazy and I don't want to do it slowly) and then just blend out the edges.

DOME BLENDER(pony hair)
Great brush to blend with in my crease. It's a skinny fluffy brush for me. It's also good for blending out precise edges(if that makes any sense). Like smaller one or the ones you don't want to blend too much. And I actually ordered almost the same brush from Coastal Scents from their individual brushes. -.- Oh well, thank God I like it. :)

MEDIUM SHADOW(pony hair)
Love to use this brush for applying eyeshadow to my inner corner. Just the perfect size. And it's soft so it doesn't poke me in the eye.

DETAIL SHADOW(pony hair)
I LOVE THIS BRUSH!!! Just awesome! I didn't knew what I was missing. It's great for highlighting the inner eye area and brow bone(although it's a bit small for that) and I love it to apply some eyeshadow to my lower lash line.

LIP(pony hair)
I don't use this brush for lips at all. It's too precious for that. :)  It's so tiny and I use it for applying eyeshadows to my lower lash line. Detail shadow brush and this brush are very very similar.

DETAIL CONCEALER(fibre hair)
It's not really my cup of tea, since the regular concealer is considered to be detail one, in my case. So I could've skip this one as well. :)

POINTED BLENDER(pony hair)
From the picture they have it on their website it looks just like a normal pencil brush. But no way in hell, it's not. MY BAD! :D after washing it, it lost its shape as a pencil brush and it looks just like the dome blender. But there is a difference. This one is bit pointed, which means the bristles in the very middle are a tad longer and it's a great way to blend the eyeshadows in the crease to create some sort of cut crease. But it's far more blended out.

BROW(pony hair)
I enjoy this brush very much. It could be used as a brow brush although to be honest, I haven't tried it. I used it as applying shadows to my lower lash line(and seems to work the best for that) and to blend/smudge the eyeliner pencil.

SMUDGE SPONGE(rubber)
Have no use for this... Tool(can't even call it a brush :D). I have never used this to smudge my eyeliner simply because I think it's very painful. :/

LARGE LINER(nylon hair)
Great for eyebrows and gel liner. I would say the same for all three liner brushes.

MEDIUM LINER(nylon hair)
The same as above. But If you have this brush I don't really think you need the large one and if you have the large one you don't really NEED this one. Just my personal opinion though. :)

SMALL LINER(nylon hair)
I love to use this brush for detailing. Sometimes my brush is to big to apply shadow on my brows. And tis brush is just right for those spots where my normal brush is just a tiny too big. And I guess the same goes for gel eyeliner.

BRUSH HOLDER
I love the brush holder. Feels very luxurious to the touch(at least to me :D) and it's not the typical brush roll, well for one it's not really a roll it's more like a pouch. And I adore the little compartment inside. :)

Overall, this set is amazing. It has everything and more for someone who is just beginning at make up. I would make some changes thought just from my personal preferences(instead of large fan brush I would grab a classic powder brush more often, doe foot blender doesn't make a difference for me but I would prefer a fluffy brush and instead of smudge sponge I would LOVE to have a good pencil brush). As I said before, bigger brushes take forever to dry but I guess it's because they're more dense and have more hair.

Coastal Scents, keep making these brushes and even though they are excellent for the price, I am from Europe so shipping is hella expensive therefore, 50% or 40% offers will be purrrrrfect in the future! :) And keep on packing the products as you pack, because when I opened my package I almost died of cuteness. It was really adorable and I'm sad now, cause I didn't take any pictures. :/
Oooh but I do have a very big complaint! :( I did't get my sticker :( I was very sad about that, but oh well. I'm healing, so no biggie. :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this review and I hope it helped somehow. It is MY opinion so in case you have this set and you disagree with me that's okay :) and if you're meaning to buy them for yourself maybe you should read or look at some other reviews as I did before I bought them but almost all of them were saying just good things.

Toodles. :)
