Valentine's Day Look Tutorial - Day&Night!

Hey there! I decided to go with the theme again for this tutorial and what better theme than Valentine's Day. :)

I personally don't really care for all the 'festivity' of that day and all the attention it gets but hey, not all of us like tacky thing, right? :) Maybe I'm just jealous... :P Anyways, single or not you can always look great for this day. I decided to do two different looks, for a simple date during the day or for a night out in the city.

THE SWEET DAY TIME LOOK

I already did the rest of my face (I'll have the products listed down below right before the complete look) so I'll just continue with my eyes and for that I will be using Sleek's Oh So Special palette.

Starting off with The Mail shade and sweeping it just a bit above the crease and creating the outer V.

Just to make it a bit deeper looking, using the shade Wrapped up and applying it onto the crease and then just blending it out into the transition colour(The Mail).

After that just apply Pamper(the light pink shade) across the whole eyelid, making sure you don't cover the deeper colour.

Taking a matte white(I used Ice White Open from Catrice) and just slightly applying it onto the inner eye corner to highlight it. Also, blend it just a little bit into the pink shade.

Taking the Ribbon and apply it on the lower lash line. It doesn't have to be perfect since this shade will actually be the transition colour.

Taking this pearly champagne coloured pencil(Catrice - Pearly Bird) and applying it onto the inner part of the lower lash line.

Line your waterline with a white pencil, I used the NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk.

Taking the Wrapped up again and applying it on the outer part of the lash line and slightly blending it into the Ribbon shade.

I didn't want this look to be too much out there 'in your face' looking, so I didn't use an eyeliner. Instead, I used the Noir shade and created a light wing just to complete the look. But you can totally use whatever you prefer. :)

1. Eye Primer: MUA Pro Base
2. Eye Brows: Catrice Eye Brow Stylist(Brow-n-eyed Peas) and MUA(Shade 19),
Catrice Eye Brow Lifter(Lift Me Up, Scotty), Essence Lash&Brow Gel Mascara
3. Mascara: Catrice Lashes To Kill and Oriflame Fat Lash

1. Foundation: Barry M Flawless Matte Finish
2. Powder: MUA Matte Perfect Loose Powder
3. Concealer: Sleek Corrector&Concealer Palette(01)
4. Blush: Sleek Candy Collection Sweet Cheeks Blush by 3(Cupcake, cream)
5. Highlighter: Sleek Face Form(Fair)

1. Lipstick: CK(Ethereal)
2. Lipgloss: Manhattan Colour Loop(Wildberry)

And the complete look:

Oh, OHH! Look at my bow! :D

THE SULTRY NIGHT OUT LOOK

Allrighty! So now let's party! I'm actually gonna use the same palette for the night look and an extra crease shadow which is my favourite. :)

So starting with this crease colour, Serene from Rimmel. Apply that to your crease and blend it out.

Then apply Wrapped Up on to the crease as well and blend it into the Serene.

Applying some Ribbon on top of the Wrapped Up will soften up the crease a bit and just be more pink rather than just plu, if that makes sense. I don't know, I like it that way. :)

Then apply Gateau on the rest of the eyelid but make sure not to blend it with the crease, just slightly feather it up.

Add some Noir in the outer V, just a tiny bit too deepen the crease a bit more.

Taking the Wrapped Up again and lining the 2/3 of lower lash line.

Going over Wrapped Up with Ribbon again and just going a bit over and more to the inner part of the lash line.

Take the Gateau again and line the inner part of the lash line and highlight the inner corner with the same eyeshadow.

Then finish it off with some Noir in the outer part of lower lash line.

Line it with some eyeliner and finish it with some mascara.

1. Eye Primer: MUA Pro Base
2. Eye Brows: Catrice Eye Brow Stylist(Brow-n-eyed Peas) and MUA(Shade 19),
Catrice Eye Brow Lifter(Lift Me Up, Scotty), Essence Lash&Brow Gel Mascara
3. Mascara: Essence I Love Extreme, MUA Mega Volume
4. Eyeliner: Barry M Wink Marker and Oriflame Stylo felt tip liners

1. Foundation: Barry M Flawless Matte Finish(Ivory)
2. Powder: MUA Fashionista Shine Stopper
3. Concealer:Catrice Camouflage Cream(Ivory)
4. Bronzer: Catrice Sun Glow(Medium Skin)
5. Blush:Clinique (Smoldering Plum)
6. Highlighter:MUA Undress Your Skin

Lipstick: Catrice 'Berry Bradshaw'(slightly dabbing it onto the lips), Essence 'Natural Beauty'(going over the Berry Bradshaw)

And yet another complete look! Man this one is a looooooooong post...

I had to use flash because the day light was poop, so that why some of the photos look really bright and weird and... Stuff. :/

Anyways. hope you enjoyed this post and liked the looks, or at least of them. And single or taken, you can rock both looks whenever you'd like to, but I just felt inspired. :)

Catrice - new products for 2014!

Hey there! Catrice released some new crazy awesome stuff for this year in their permanent line. Cool! :D They also have a LE line that I had to pass. :( Ooh boy...

They've come out with a few new nail polish shades, lipsticks, eyeshadow quads, eyeliners, blushes and a completely new line of lip products and much more. So far I have bought quite a few of their new stuff and I am very glad I did. Catrice itself is not that expensive and most of the products are amazing. Not that impressed with eyeshadows but they are wearable, especially with a good primer underneath it. :)

Obviously I haven't bought everything, but I did quite a damage to my wallet. :P

I had to use it the moment I got it and the eyeshadow quality isn't that bad. I love how they put a matte shade inside it. Usually their quads have all shimmer shades and they're hella shimmery. They released a lilac shade quad and a teal/blue one.

All four shades mixed

I love this blush! At first I though it was matte but more I use it more I think it has some sort of sheen to it. It's gorgeous on it's own but even better with some contouring.

Heavy swatches
Blended out a bit

Haven't used this blush yet but it is a very beautiful shade. It has shimmer and isn't too pigmented, which is good.

This is something I wanted for quite a while but every time I find some sort of a brow highlighter they're shimmery. But this one isn't! Love it, love it, love it!

Rose gold/champagne shade and it is yes indeed waterproof. I had to scrub it off my hand, actually scrape it. :P

Upper swatch has multiple layers, lower one
has just one

A standard berry shade for vampy lips. :) It has some shimmer(purple) but it doesn't show up on lips so this one is a keeper. :)

On the photos it looks so much brighter than in real life, I promise. I wouldn't buy it if it were that bright. :D However, it isn't that casual either. Haven't worn this yet, I do think this is perfect for spring. It doesn't have any shimmer to it.

Just a berry lipgloss without any shimmer. I like lip glosses from Catrice. They're sticky but not annoyingly sticky. :P Hope that makes sense.

Here are the new products, they're very similar to L'oreal lip stains. I will be reviewing these soon so I'm not saying much about these except they're not that bright, the photos are lying! :D Oh and the last photo really show they are in fact stain your lips, or your hand. :P

This is all that caught my attention for now, I wanted some nail polishes as well, but didn't find the ones I wanted. :/ So yeah... :) Maybe later in the year. :)

Hope you enjoyed seeing new things Catrice delivered to our drugstores in 2014 and I hope you can get your hands on some of these product cause they're really awesome. :) Thanks for reading.

Byeeeeeeee.
