Valentine's Day Look Tutorial - Day&Night!

Hey there! I decided to go with the theme again for this tutorial and what better theme than Valentine's Day. :)

I personally don't really care for all the 'festivity' of that day and all the attention it gets but hey, not all of us like tacky thing, right? :) Maybe I'm just jealous... :P Anyways, single or not you can always look great for this day. I decided to do two different looks, for a simple date during the day or for a night out in the city.

THE SWEET DAY TIME LOOK

I already did the rest of my face (I'll have the products listed down below right before the complete look) so I'll just continue with my eyes and for that I will be using Sleek's Oh So Special palette.

Starting off with The Mail shade and sweeping it just a bit above the crease and creating the outer V.

Just to make it a bit deeper looking, using the shade Wrapped up and applying it onto the crease and then just blending it out into the transition colour(The Mail).

After that just apply Pamper(the light pink shade) across the whole eyelid, making sure you don't cover the deeper colour.

Taking a matte white(I used Ice White Open from Catrice) and just slightly applying it onto the inner eye corner to highlight it. Also, blend it just a little bit into the pink shade.

Taking the Ribbon and apply it on the lower lash line. It doesn't have to be perfect since this shade will actually be the transition colour.

Taking this pearly champagne coloured pencil(Catrice - Pearly Bird) and applying it onto the inner part of the lower lash line.

Line your waterline with a white pencil, I used the NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk.

Taking the Wrapped up again and applying it on the outer part of the lash line and slightly blending it into the Ribbon shade.

I didn't want this look to be too much out there 'in your face' looking, so I didn't use an eyeliner. Instead, I used the Noir shade and created a light wing just to complete the look. But you can totally use whatever you prefer. :)

THE SULTRY NIGHT OUT LOOK

Allrighty! So now let's party! I'm actually gonna use the same palette for the night look and an extra crease shadow which is my favourite. :)

So starting with this crease colour, Serene from Rimmel. Apply that to your crease and blend it out.

Then apply Wrapped Up on to the crease as well and blend it into the Serene.

Applying some Ribbon on top of the Wrapped Up will soften up the crease a bit and just be more pink rather than just plu, if that makes sense. I don't know, I like it that way. :)

Then apply Gateau on the rest of the eyelid but make sure not to blend it with the crease, just slightly feather it up.

Add some Noir in the outer V, just a tiny bit too deepen the crease a bit more.

Taking the Wrapped Up again and lining the 2/3 of lower lash line.

Going over Wrapped Up with Ribbon again and just going a bit over and more to the inner part of the lash line.

Take the Gateau again and line the inner part of the lash line and highlight the inner corner with the same eyeshadow.

Then finish it off with some Noir in the outer part of lower lash line.

Line it with some eyeliner and finish it with some mascara.

1. Eye Primer: MUA Pro Base
2. Eye Brows: Catrice Eye Brow Stylist(Brow-n-eyed Peas) and MUA(Shade 19),
Catrice Eye Brow Lifter(Lift Me Up, Scotty), Essence Lash&Brow Gel Mascara
3. Mascara: Essence I Love Extreme, MUA Mega Volume
4. Eyeliner: Barry M Wink Marker and Oriflame Stylo felt tip liners

And yet another complete look! Man this one is a looooooooong post...
